Betsy Spomer, MD, CPCC

Betsy is an experienced certified professional Executive Life Coach. She received her coaching certification through CTI (Coaches Training Institute)in 2016. She is also a Family Medicine Physician with over 20 years of clinical practice, a wife of nearly 30 years to her high school sweetheart, and a mother of two lovely daughters.

After many years as a busy physician, wife and mother, Betsy began to feel the impact of her struggle to create balance in her life. Trying to “do it all” resulted in less than optimal health, mood, and overall effectiveness at work and at home. She found herself in pure survival mode, and she wanted more. She knew that she needed to make a change.

In her quest to recapture her joy, Betsy ultimately elected to take a break from her clinical practice of medicine and pursued her professional coaching certification. She now finds herself in what she calls her "sweet spot"- perfectly positioned to fulfill her life purpose in service to others as both a physician and a life coach.

As a Coach, Betsy loves working with all busy professionals, especially those who are interested in making meaningful change- in their own lives and in world.  As a healthcare professional herself, she can truly empathize with the very really struggles of working in healthcare today. For that reason she has a real heart for coaching students, resident physicians, physicians and other healthcare professionals as they navigate the uncertain terrain of today’s healthcare arena. She is passionate about the role that coaching plays in setting healthcare professionals up to thrive.
